About this course

The registered manager is a named individual on the regulator's register who is personally accountable for a service, in addition to the provider's own accountability. That personal element is what makes the job different from any management role below it, and it is what most preparation for the role skates over.

This course covers what registration actually commits you to, the notifications you are legally required to make and the timescales attached to them, governance that produces early warning rather than reassurance, the duty of candour, and the workforce reality that decides whether any of it holds together.
