What you should compare instead of price
Price is the easiest thing to compare and the least informative. Four questions separate training that survives an inspection from training that does not, and you can ask them of any provider including this one.
- Can you see what is taught before you buy? Ours publishes the entire teaching script for every course, openly, at no charge. If a provider will not show you the content, there is usually a reason.
- Does it cite its sources? Every module here lists the authoritative references it is built from, so a quality assurer can trace a claim to its origin.
- Can an employer verify the certificate? Every certificate here carries a code checkable at verify, free, with no account. A certificate nobody can check is not worth issuing.
- Is it honest about accreditation? Ours states the exact status of every claim on the accreditation page, including the ones that are only planned. Badges implying assurance nobody granted are common and worth checking.
Questions
Why is this so much cheaper than other providers?
Because the expensive parts of this market are not the teaching. They are sales commission, certificate fees, postage, resit fees and reseller margin. We write the material once, host it ourselves, mark assessments on our own servers, and a digital certificate costs nothing to reissue. What is genuinely left to charge for is small.
Is inexpensive training taken seriously by employers?
Employers care whether the content is defensible at inspection and whether the certificate can be verified. Ours cites its sources, publishes its full teaching script for anyone to audit, and issues certificates an employer can check for free. Auditability is the signal that matters, not the price.
What is not included at this price?
Observed practical competence. Hoisting, basic life support technique and venepuncture must be assessed by a competent person watching you work, and no online provider at any price replaces that. Every course where it applies says so on its own page.
