Privacy notice

What we collect

The minimum needed to run a learning record: your name, your email address, a hashed password held by our identity service, and your learning activity, meaning which modules you opened, your assessment attempts and scores, your certificates and your CPD entries.

Optional fields you may add: profession, employer, NMC pin and revalidation date. These exist only to make your own record more useful and none of them are required.

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising, we do not use advertising or analytics trackers that profile you, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data. We do not ask for your date of birth, address or payment details, because we do not need them.

Cookies

One cookie, named for the session, which keeps you signed in. It is essential to the service you have asked for, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations no consent banner is required. There are no other cookies.

Lawful basis

For your account and learning record, performance of a contract with you. For security logging and preventing abuse, legitimate interests. Special category data is not required by this service, and you should not enter clinical details about any patient anywhere on this site, including in reflective notes.

How long we keep it

Your learning record and certificates are kept while your account is open, because their whole purpose is to be evidence years later. Certificates remain verifiable after issue. If you delete your account, personal identifiers are removed; a certificate you have already given to an employer remains verifiable, showing only the name it was issued in.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your data, and you may object to processing. Email hello@wajd.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, and you can do so without going through us first.

Where data lives

Data is held on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area.
