The things people ask first
What exactly is free?
Module one of every course, with no account and no payment. Then your first complete course, including its assessment and certificate, once you create a free account. After that a thirty day pass is £9.99, or a single course is £19 outright. Nothing charges your card automatically, and certificate verification is free permanently for employers. The fee table sets out every line.
Will this help me get a job?
It gives you the knowledge employers screen for and a certificate they can verify. Practical competence is still assessed in the workplace, and we say so rather than pretending otherwise.
Can I finish the Care Certificate here?
All fifteen standards of knowledge, with a certificate and a workbook for your assessor. The observed elements must be signed off by someone watching you work.
I trained outside the UK. Where do I start?
OSCE preparation, then the Care Certificate. Experienced nurses fail the OSCE on UK specific practice, not on nursing.
I manage a care team. Can I track everyone?
